Students and young engineers of the VDI and the ASME American Society of Mechanical Engineers have cooperated for the first time in a joint project on "Renewable Energy Systems of the Future." In spite of different conditions in both countries, the young energy experts from both organizations set a common goal of assembling a completely sustainable energy system for the U.S. and Germany by 2050.
